My Overwhelming Experience At The Dindigul Fort And The Nagercoil Express 17235
Some journeys get from good to better and slowly turn into the best journeys of your lives. This happens mostly on family vacations like this vacation of mine with my family turned out to be when we had been to Dindigul to spend our vacations. The joy of being married and being along with someone special also comes out in such vacations when you get to spend quality time with your lovely wife. This was our first vacation since our honey moon 3 years back so both of us were excited.
Me and my wife both are well planned and managed people and do things in a very organised way so we planned up this whole trip. We first decided the location then went on with the train ticket booking followed by hotel bookings. I use online travel portals to book my train tickets where I actually plan for the best train to travel in. I booked my train tickets this time on the Nagercoil Express 17235and left for the trip on 23rd January this year and also some quality time at the Dindigul Railway Station while returning from there.

Those old days have gone when you had a big book with details of trains called the train timetable and used to go through almost half of it searching for a train to travel in. It’s time now to use online train schedules and time tables where you get each and every information of a train in detail using which you can easily book train tickets. For this particular journey of mine I had some requirements pertaining to the train that I would be travelling in. It was actually off season for many reasons as January is a time when there are exams all over the country so people don’t usually travel in this time.
My first requirement was that I needed the side seat for me and my wife as we have very less luggage and prefer to travel sitting and chatting with each other. I chose the Nagercoil Express 17235 because it’s a train that leaves from Bangalore in the evening around 17:00 hrs so we had lots of time to chat with each other. Thus two of my needs satisfied because I used a good online travel portal where I actually found out all the information.

There were two things that we loved apart from the lovely time that we spent in the Hotel Vivera Grandeand that is the Dindigul Fortandthe Dindigul Railway station. This place is a heaven for travellers and is filled with so many things to see and understand.
We spent a long time at the Dindigul Fortwhich was built by Raja Muttu Krishnappa Nayak who was the king of a large part of the south Indian province in the year 1605. This fort has a lot of significance to history as this was also one of the forts that Tipu Sultan and Hyder Ali used to protect the kingdoms of south India.
